Summer is here!

Well this week has been full of all kinds of excitement! First of all, let me start with the fact that America finally got right and voted for the true American Idol!!! :-) I have never been a huge fan of the show, but I did watch a little the year Daughtry was voted off and something really sucked me in this year and his name would be David Cook. From the moment I heard him sing, I knew I wanted to hear more from him, not too mention he's pretty easy on the eyes!! But now that it's over, what am I going to watch on Tuesday & Wednesday nights?? :-) O.k. so enough about my T.V. delema, Jackson finished pre-school this week. They had a picnic on the playground, and invited all the parents to come and join them. He will start swimming lessons next week with Wyeth and then at the end of June he has a summer camp at school for a week! Max is chewing on everything but still has no teeth! He is the happiest little guy and today was his first time in the swimming pool with Daddy! I wasn't too sure how he was going to like the water because he doesn't enjoy his bath, but he looked like he was enjoying it!! We have had a great weekend so far, strawberry picking, pony rides and hanging out at gram's pool!

In other news, as most of you know my sister Sally had her baby on the 12th via C-section. First a foremost Audrey is beautiful like her mom and she is healthy! Well this past week Sally ended up back in the hospital with some kind of infection. She has been running a fever for 5 days now and they still are not certain what is causing it. Thank god the baby is doing great and she is able to stay there in the hospital with mom but of course this is not what Sally had in mind her first week of motherhood! Hopefully they will know something soon and she can go home where I know she is wanting to be! Please keep them all in your thoughts ! ;-) Well that's it for now! Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend! Hugs to you all!!! :-)

6th Month Check Up

Hello Everyone! Well Max is 17 lbs, 27 1/2 inches long and doing great! He still has no teeth, but we chew on EVERYTHING!!! He is rolling over more and more and when he's on his tummy his arms and feet are going a mile a minute! He's trying to crawl, it's so cute! His latest discovery is bouncing! He LOVES the jumparoo! He could stay in there all day if I let him, I swear!! :-) And when he's not in it he's bouncing on your lap, it's so darn cute!!!

In other news, Jackson was back in the hospital again this week for another blood transfusion. It has been working out to be every three months and he's back getting blood. We meet with the specialist again in the fall and we'll determine another course of action if needed. The good news is my little boy is back full of energy and a great shade of pink!!! ;-) I have had a wonderful mothers day so far. I recieved the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from my mom, which was a nice surprise! Thanks Mom, I love you! I got to go to brunch with my wonderful inlaws, just the ladies and we had a great time! Always nice to spend time together without kids interrupting!! When I got home , Zach and the boys had been hard at work making me my mother's day cards! I got a great herb garden too!! It's been very nice and relaxing!! Hope all of you mothers out there enjoyed your special day too!!
