15 Weeks

Wow, what a week it has been! I guess I spoke too soon when I said that Jackson was doing so well! This week he crashed and we made another visit to UVA for his 6th blood transfusion. His doctors seem to think that his surgery will be moved up a year meaning that we could have his spleened removed as early as next summer. This is both a good thing and a bad. Bad just because the longer he has his spleen, the better his chances are for fight off other infections. The good news is that our little boy will feel a whole lot better! The docters seem to think that 5 now is the magic number and if we can make it til then, wonderful! All in all, he's doing much better. He had an ear infection as well so they have him on antibiotics and he has his energy back.

As for baby number 3, all is growing well here as you can see! We are 15 weeks, with a strong heartbeat of 157 beats. I have gained a total of 5 lbs, but it feels like a ton more than that! I swear with each pregnancy your belly just pops out, It's crazy!!! I'm feeling pretty good now, just trying to keep up with the other 2 little ones! We will find out the sex of the baby, the week of January 12th. Great Anniversay present for Zach and I! It's a little later, just because we'll be in Florida over the holidays! Lets all think pink, o.k?? ;-)

1 Year Check-Up

Today was Max's 1 year check up. We have had to cancel twice because he had an ear infection. Poor little guy was miserable but doing fantastic now. He weights 21.5 lbs and is 32 inches long. He is crawling everywhere, climbing stairs and walking along furniture. He babels allot-Da da especially, and occasionally I here a Ma Ma in there! :-) But boy oh boy does he light up when daddy gets home, he just goes crazy for Zach which Zach just eats it up! He's s very lovey dovey little boy. Loves to give kisses and hugs, it makes your heart melt! :-) Jackson is doing well too. He has been sick with colds, but no blood transfusions for quite some time now. His little body seems to be fighting everything he gets off which is a great sign! He loves school and is really enjoying his Karate class. I have noticed a pretty big change in him, just in the last few weeks. I'm not sure if it's age, school or what but man is 4 a MUCH better age than 3-3 1/2!!! :-) He has started doing some small chores, like keeping his room clean and making his bed. All good things to start now and he seems to enjoy having chores! :-) As for Zach and I we are doing really good, excited about the new baby coming! I go for my 15 week check up on Thursday so I'll up date you more then but all in all I'm feeling much better. The nausa is pretty much gone and I have a little more energy. I definitely have a growing belly, so that's always a good sign! I'll post some pictures next time along with all the lastest news on baby number 3! :-)

Birthdays!

This has been a very long week for all of us! It started out with Halloween last Friday, then on Sunday we had Jackson's 4th Birthday Party at Romp 'n' Roll and let me tell you the kids had a blast! It was so much fun to watch all of them! :-) There were 12 kids there to help celebrate and I think by the time the party was over they were all worn out! :-) Then of course Tuesday was Election Day and man I was so anxious all day, you would have thought I was running for president! What a Historical Day, one that I'm so proud to be able to tell my kids about someday! Then Wednesday was Jackson's actual 4th Birthday along with his party at school! I'm not sure Jackson really knows his birthday is only one day???!! :-) Gotta work on that....Then we finished the week by celebrating Maximillion's 1st birthday! We just had a little get together with family tonight and I'm not sure Max really knew what was going on! It was very cute to watch him stick his fingers in his own little cake! It was a great way to end a very tiring week! Enjoy the pictures! :-)

Halloween

Halloween was a blast for Jackson this year!  He got to have a party at school and then trick or treated with his cousins that night.  They had a such a good time!  Max wasn't feeling so good, yes he has a cold again!  He was mickey mouse and wasn't too sure about the whole costume thing! He had more fun crawling in the piles of leaves in front of great grandma's house! Here are a few pictures and I'll blog more this week after both boys birthday parties! :-)
