Our Little Elves!

Well we are really getting excited about Christmas here at the Shea house! Jackson is counting down the days and so am I! I can't wait for my mom and Wayne to get here! It's been 5 months since they've seen Lola and boy has she changed! It's going to be so great having them here to share in the excitement Christmas Morning! :-)

Here's a little of what's happening here with us! Jackson is doing great in OT, we have seen a really big change in his behavior and our ability to calm him. He's doing great in school and enjoys staying later a couple of days a week to take part in Karate Class and Lunch Bunch! Max is so 2 these days, trying hard to fight for his independence! He is talking more and more and really LOVES playing trains at the moment! Little Miss Lola is such a happy baby! She is still trying to cut teeth! I think she's going to get them all at once, seriously!! It's taking forever for them to come in!! She is trying desperately to crawl!! I don't think It will be too much longer now! She watches and looks for her brothers all the time! She squeals with such excitement when they are around her, it's the cutest thing ever!

Well here are a few pictures for now! Happy Holidays to all!! :-)

Lola Grace, 6 months already!

So Lola is 6 months this Thursday! I don't know where the time has gone, truly! She is the most beautiful, happy baby! She lights up the room and her brothers and daddy adore her! She is taking better naps and is down for the night by 7, and up by 7 every morning with a little snack inbetween! She is still teething and chewing on everything, even your finger if you let her! She is grabbing for food and really anything for that matter! I'm still breastfeeding and she has cereal, fruit and a veggie everyday! She weighs about 15 lbs and is 27.5 inches long! Still 100th percentile for length. She loves to giggle and loves when you sing to her!

We are getting ready for the holidays, with my mom and Wayne coming here to VA for Christmas! I am really excited about that then we head to Bonita Beach for New Years. There we will be meeting up with both my sisters, their hubby's and little miss Audrey!! I can hardly stand it, I'm so excited!!!! " :-) 2009 has been great, with the birth of our baby girl, Jackson having his surgery and Maximillion turning 2! I am looking forward to ending it with great visits with my family! We are really excited about what 2010 may bring!! Happy Holidays to all of you!!! :-)
By the way, these pictures were taken by Zach. He is starting a new business called Needful Images. He has a gift, check out his website at needfulimages.com

Look who's 5 and 2!

So it's been a busy couple of weeks around here! We had Jackson's Birthday Party with all his friends from school on the 25th of October at the Pumpkin Patch. It was a beautiful day that day and it really was a great place to have a birthday party. The kids really seemed to have allot of fun, and I was pooped by the end of the day! Thank god Mom O was there to help, because Max wasn't feeling that great so Dad stayed home with him and Lola.

Then of course came Halloween, and this past week both boys turned 5 and 2! I can not believe it! where does the time go?? They both have changed so much lately,it's amazing to watch! Max is talking more and more and just becoming a little boy! He loves to cuddle and is really into trains right now. Jackson is doing great in school and we have started OT for his Sensory Issues. This is a very trying time for us, learning how to deal with the clues to the triggers of Jackson's behavior. Zach and I both are learning so much from this. I really feel we have finally gotten the answers we have needed for sometime now and we are finally on the right road with his OT!

Then there is little Miss Lola, our Doll Baby! She is such a joy, truly! She has the most amazing smile and eyes to die for. She is going on 6 months now and I really don't know where the time has gone! We are really looking forward to the holidays, especially Christmas this year! My mom and Wayne will be here to spend it in VA! The kids are excited I know, and I can't wait for my mom to have some much needed visiting with her grandbabies! :-)

Happy Halloween!

Well, Halloween has come and gone! It started out on Friday at Jackson's school with a Party and Parade at School. Zach and I both enjoyed watching all the kids in their costumes and singing their songs! Then Saturday the kids had a great time getting ready for trick or treating and Daddy did too! Daddy and Lola were super cute together as a Flower and Flower Pot! :-) Jackson was a Police Officer and Max was a Farmer! It rained here, but that didn't stop us from heading out and enjoying the night! Here are some pictures of our Halloween!

Lots of Fall Fun!

So here we are in the middle of October already! Crazy how time goes by so fast, yet some days it feels as if time doesn't go by fast enough!! :-) We have been super busy with lots of Fall activites, including the Pumpkin Patch, Apple Orchard and Corn Maze! The boys love these events and I'm sure next year Lola will be right there along with them! We are looking foward to the next couple of weeks with Halloween parties, and the boys birthdays! I love this time of year!

Jackson is turning 5 on the 5th of November! I can't believe my baby boy is 5 already! He is doing really well in school and we are starting OT this week to help him with some of his anxiety issues and possible sensory disorder. This has been an on going issue with Jack and Zach and I are so happy to finally have the right people and tools to help us, help Jackson!

Maximillion will be 2 on the 7th of November and he is definitely 2! He is talking more and more and getting into EVERYTHING!! Much more than Jackson ever did! He is such a little devil, with a smile of an angel!! :-) I have him in a music/gym class now and I think this will be good for him, having to listen and take direction from someone other than mom! One can hope, right? LOL! :-)

And last but not least, Miss Lola Grace is going on 5 months now and she is rolling over, back to front and front to back! She wants to move so bad, you can see that she is trying to crawl already! She is very determined to keep up with her brothers! Her 2 bottom teeth are trying to break through, but nothing yet! She is still a very content and happy baby all the time! She is so precious to me! Most days I am exhausted and feel as if I'm a hamster on a wheel, but I am so lucky to be home with my kids and watch them change day to day! It's the best job ever!! :-)

September has arrived!

So this month sure has been busy so far! It started out with Little Miss Lola turning 3 months, Jackson starting school, Max walking after the cast was removed and our trip to Disney World! We had a great vacation, but realized it's allot of work with 3 little ones all on different schedules. It will be awhile before we visit Mickey and his friends again, lets just say at least 5 more years!! ;-) All in all, the kids did great flying down both ways, and they really did enjoy Disney and spending time with Grandma, Aunt Leah, Wyeth, Mckenna & Auntie Kim! We got to have lunch with Cinderella in her Castle and enjoyed a great BBQ with Mickey & Minnie! Max & Jackson loved dancing with Mickey and little miss Lola slept pretty much through the whole thing!!
So the day we left, Jackson started school! He had a great first day, and loves his new teachers! I'm excited to get him back on Monday so we can get our routine down. He goes all 5 days this year so its a bit different for both of us!! He also starts soccer this week, and we are all excited about that! Max is doing great walking and running again! You would never know that he broke his leg! He is 22 months now and starting to talk a bit more and more! He LOVES tractors, cars and balls. He is a free spirit of sorts, always happy and ready to explore the world, just like his daddy!! :-)
Lola is growing like a weed! She is 3 months and weighs 12.5 lbs and is 24.5 inches long. She was sleeping through the nights for about a month then all the sudden she started teething! All my kids have been early teethers. She now sleeps 4-6 hour stretches, from about 8 or 9 p.m.-til 7-8:00 am. Her naps have gotten allot better too. She takes a 1-2.5 hour nap in the morning and another in the afternoon. She eats every 2-3 hours still during the day and we have started her on cereal as well. She loves it! She's like a little bird waiting for each spoonful! She also loves to talk to you and to have you sing to her! She can hold objects in her hand. Her eyes are still blue, so we are hoping they stay! Our baby girl truely is a happy, happy baby! :-)
So here are a few pictures for now! Hugs and kisses to you all! :-)
