Great News!

I just thought I would share the latest in Kodiak News. Kodiak was up for a 2008 Small Business Award here in Lynchburg VA and out of 16 companies up for the award, Kodiak was 1 of 5 winners! They were recognized for their growth in 4 years and for expanding beyond what they started out initially doing, shredding! It was such a proud moment for both Zach and I. Him for all the hard work he has done growing this company and me, well just to see him awarded for all the hard work I KNOW he does! I couldn't keep the tears from flowing....I am just so proud of him! :-) Congratulations Zach, this is only the 1st of many more awards to come!!! :-)

In other news, we had Family pictures taken over the weekend and here are just a few to take a peek at! I think they turned out great considering Jackson was NOT going to have his picture taken!!! :-) Toddlers.....need I say more!!!! Enjoy! :-)

Spring Cleaning!!

Hello everyone! Well we have been busy here lately spring cleaning! It has been so nice having the windows open and having the house aired out! There is only a short time here in VA you can do that, before it's way too hot and you just have A/C on all time!! This past week was a little crazy for me. We had to have a new heat pump for the upstairs and for those of you northeners that is like a new furnace. That was installed on Wednesday and Zach was out of town Wednesday, Thursday and part of Friday. So the kids and I kept busy by playing outdoors and walking the neighborhood! We are also in the process of picking out new paint colors for our house. What a job that is. I have a beautiful mural of colors on the side of my house!!! I think we finally picked the color combination and now we just have to get quotes on how much this is going to cost us!! Our house is a unique design and everyone says it's going to be a challenge!! I'll keep you posted.
Jackson and Max are doing great. Both are on a pretty good nap schedule in the afternoon so I'm able to get some rest. Thank God Jackson still likes to nap!! ;-) He is out of School in May and then he'll have summer camp in June for a week. Next Fall he goes 3 days a week and I think he'll really enjoy that! Max is eating and nursing well. He is such a big boy! I say he's fat and happy!! He truely is the happiest baby, so content. He is talking more and more and he loves to squeal! The best is when Jackson gets him laughing, it's the Greatest!! These two are going to have so much fun together one day!! Well, I think that's it for now. Here are some new pic's. Check out my new summer hair-do. Hugs and kisses to you all!! ;-)

Look who's rolling over!

He's off and rolling! Max turned 5 months on Monday and desided it was time to start rolling! As soon as you lay him down on his back, he rolls right over! Then once he's over he's trying so hard to get those legs moving! It's just a matter of time and I'm sure he'll be crawling! It's so funny to see this because Jackson never liked rolling over and never crawled, he just got up and walked! It's true what they say, every child is different and boy are they different!! ;-) This past week has been full of surprises! Max had been sleeping through the night for a good 2 months and now he's cutting teeth and waking up a couple of times during the night. Just when you think you have them on a good schedule, something always changes!

April Showers Bring May Flowers!

So we have had allot of rain the last week since our return from MI! The temp. has been warm, but everyday seems to bring rain showers! I guess it's good since everything is looking so green!! :-) The kids are doing good. Max is going on 5 months already, I can hardly believe it! Jackson has been playing outside on his playset whenever the sun desides to shine! He loves to swing and his new thing is building sand castles in his sandbox! We are still watching Peter Pan everyday, but I finally got him the newest one "Return to Neverland" so I at least have another 500 times to see this one before it's as old to me as the original!!! :-) Here are few new pictures of the boys! They are sporting their Detroit Tigers shirts, supporting the start of Baseball Season!

Our Visit to Michigan!

As most of you know, my sister Sally's Baby Shower was this past weekend so Jackson, Max and I all flew in on Thursday for a long weekend! It was great to see everyone, especially the "HOT" Mama expecting!! Sally looks so great and she's glowing from ear to ear!! The shower was beautiful and I can't believe how much stuff they got!!! It took her forever to open all her presents! Of course she had a little help from Jackaroo! :-) My Aunt Joyce made each of the tables centerpieces and they turned out beautiful! Thanks, Aunt Joyce for all your hard work and Mom, Sara & Krista for all the last minute stuff!! I know Sally really appreciated it!
After the shower on Saturday, we got to spend some quality family time together along with our good friends Krista and Randy! We had some good laughs which is always the case when Krista's in the room full of Ross Girls!! I miss those times together! Even though it was a short visit, I enjoyed seeing everyone!

Max is 4 months old!

Today was Max's 4 month check up. He is 15 lbs, 26 inches long and that puts him in the 100th percentle for length. He has grown 6 inches since birth! Hopefully that's a sign he'll be tall like his daddy!! Everything checked out well and we started Max on some cereal and applesauce! He seems to like it! I don't think I'll have a problem with this little guy eating!! :-) We are all rested and back into the swing of things back home since vacation and now the boys and I are heading to MI next week for my sister Sally's baby shower and spend Easter with my family! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

Disney World

Well Hello Everyone! We are back from our wonderful vacation to Disney! This was the first vacation that we have had in four long years and it was worth the wait! Thanks to Zach's mom who is a Vacation Club member we got to stay in the Roy Disney suite in the Grand Floridian, which was beautiful! We were there for 2 nights then it was onto the Animal Kingdom Lodge for 7 nights! There mom got the Grand Villa which was like home away from home! 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 huge balcony's and a great living/dining room space. It was a vacation just being in the room!!! ;-) Jackson loved being out on the balcony looking at all the animals. It was so cool, they were right out in front of us to see all day long! The Animal Kingdom is very relaxing and quite, great for families. Jackson had more fun swimming in the pool and we could have saved a bundle by just riding the monorail and never stepping foot in a park. He loved to ride the buses and we would get on the monorail and ride from park to park. It was so great seeing it through his eyes. It was the littlest things that made his day! The first stop was to see the Pirates of the Caribeann and of course once we got there, there was no way he was getting in that ride! But we did manage to do some damage in the store! I don't think he's lacking for any pirate stuff, we got it all!! The next best thing was meeting all the Disney Characters and the Little Einsteins! The playhouse disney show was a hit and it even made me cry!! It was so cute to watch Jack get so excited over these characters and dance around, what a great feeling as a parent! :-) Even little Max was watching intently!! Another hit was in toontown at the Magic Kingdom. That is where Jackson had a ball in the shooting water park in pooh's playground. He loved stepping on the water shooting out of the ground, it cracked him up! We all enjoyed watching him get soaking wet! Monday was my Birthday, so Zach made reservations at Victoria & Alberts which is a really nice restuarant in The Grand Floridian. It was so nice to get dressed up and enjoy a few hours together without the little ones, (thanks mom for babysitting)!!!! And Thanks Zach for making my Birthday one of the best ever!! ;-) All in all it was a great time! This was the first time traveling with 2 kids in a car for 12 hours and both of them did fantastic! We are all looking forward to the next trip to Disney!
