Tractors, Tractors and more Tractors!

Hello Everyone! Well this past weekend was our first hiking trip all together as a family! It was a gorgeous day here on Sunday so we took the kids for a short hike to one of our favorite spots with a waterfall. Jackson hiked like a big boy, while Max was in the backpack with Daddy! They did great and when we got to the water Jackson just had to strip his clothes and get in the water!! Of course once he was in he figured out it was a little too cold for his liking!!! :-) Max is continuing to grow and he had his first biter biscuit and really seemed to enjoy every bite of it! He is so much fun, he has a great temperament! Calm, cool and collected just like daddy!!! ;-)

Another big thing that happened this weekend, Jackson got his 1st John Deere Tractor and he is in LOVE! He is up every morning bright and early, I may add, ready to cut the grass! He is so cute, he comes downstairs when he wakes and tells me he has to go to work!! :-) We also started summer camp this week. He wasn't too sure about it on Monday, but he did great today and he's excited to go back tomorrow! Needless to say, mom is loving the free time I have in the mornings!!! :-)

On another note, they have finally finished the roof and the paint on our house! It seems like this has been an on going project, so I am so glad to finally have all the contractors gone and it looks great! I posted some before and after shots for you to see for yourself! :-) The new colors are the tan & red.

These next couple of weeks are pretty busy for us. We are having an outdoor blessing for Max on July 6th, and Zach's bother Kurt and his wife Regina are his godparents so they are making the trip from MI! My mom and Wayne will also be here for the 4th of July weekend to join in the celebration! The following week, I'll be heading to MI for my sister Sara's bridal shower on the 12th and to finally meet my beautiful niece Audrey!!! I'm taking Max with me and Jackson and daddy are going to do some father/son bonding! I'm going to miss them both terribly, but I know it's good for Jack and his daddy to have some one on one time!!
