Many, Many Blessings Max!

This past weekend was really eventful for us! Jackson was back in getting his 5th blood transfusion on Thursday night. My poor little guy caught a virus that caused a 103 temp. on Tuesday & Wednesday, so the doctors wanted to wait and see if his body would fight it on his own, without transfusing. By Thursday I could tell he just wasn't getting any better so we had his blood count checked again and as we thought, it was lower. Time to transfuse! So Daddy & Jack headed for UVA for an overnight stay! Friday morning (Fourth of July none the less) they were discharged and sent home for some much needed rest before all his cousins from MI got here!!

So Saturday morning, Zach, Max and I woke about about 6:45 a.m. and we kept waiting on Jackson to come down any minute, Nope! By 8:00 a.m. I was about to go check on him and Zach said just let him sleep! Mind you, Jackson hasn't slept til 8:00 a.m. since he was about 2 years old! So at 8:15 here comes Jackson ready to go!! :-) Zach's brother Kurt and our sister in law Regina and their 4 kids are down visiting and Jackson was so excited to play with his cousins! He is doing so much better and these kids have been playing non-stop!!!

Sunday was Maximillions Blessing! It was beautiful here, and the ceremony was very nice! My mom and Wayne made the trip here as well so it was so nice to have so much family here to celebrate! I want to thank everyone who shared in Max's special day and a special thank you to Kurt & Regina who accepted the honor of being his godparents! What a great day it was celebrating Max!! :-)
